Job Description
The Payroll Clerk supports the Payroll Supervisor in processing paperwork relating to BOCES payrolls.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Must possess or meet requirements for Civil Service title of Payroll Clerk or Office Clerk III or Office Clerk IV (Competitive).
Three years full-time experience in payroll processing OR 1 years’ experience in payroll processing plus an Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance OR 2 years’ experience in payroll processing plus an Associate’s degree OR 2 years’ clerical experience.
Payroll experience, knowledge of Workers’ Compensation and retirement systems preferred.
Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES is an educational agency serving nine school districts in the New York State counties of Monroe and Orleans:
