Job Description:
Function of Position:
This position reports to the Manager of Campus Events. The Part-time Summer Campus Events Assistant assists with the daily operations of the Campus Events Office. The Part-time Summer Campus Events Assistant is expected to work with minimal supervision and complete tasks as assigned by the Director, Manager and Coordinator II.
*This is a part-time, temporary position from June 2nd 2025 through August 4th 2025*
Examples of Duties & Responsibilities:
- Physical event support (minor tasks)
- Staff reception area of office: Phone support, managing key and equipment sign-out, filing, Astra input
- Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned by the Manager, Director and Coordinator II

Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- NYS Drivers license or ID
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service.
- Self motivated learner, committed to working in a team environment
- Bilingual and able to read, write, and speak Spanish, or other languages, proficiently
Additional Information:
Salary: $20/hour
Schedule: 10 hours/week
