Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas within the hotel. This role is crucial in ensuring a pleasant and welcoming environment for our guests, contributing to their overall experience during their stay.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Change bed linens and towels, ensuring all items are fresh and clean for each guest.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products in guest rooms and common areas.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas of the hotel, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service.
- Assist in deep cleaning projects as needed, including floor care and industrial cleaning tasks.
- Maintain professional working relationship, good work ethics and respectful behavior at all times.
- Must be able to have reliable transportation.
- Positively accept constructive feedback and work on improving it.
- Any other duties instructed by General Manager.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services.
- Knowledge of housekeeping management practices within the hospitality industry is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
