Job Title: Administrative Assistant (Temporary)

Hours: Monday and Friday 8:30 – 4:30 and Thursday 12:30 – 4:30
Job Summary:
Our medical start up client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant with 2-3 years of experience to support our team with a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and proficiency in office software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including emails and phone calls.
- Maintain and organize filing systems (electronic and physical).
- Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents as needed.
- Order office supplies and manage inventory.
- Support event planning and coordination for company meetings and functions.
- Perform data entry and maintain databases.
- Assist with HR-related administrative tasks, such as onboarding, scheduling interviews and maintaining employee records.
- Provide general support to visitors and act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 2-5 years of experience in an administrative support role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with office management systems, CRM software, or accounting software (a plus).
Education & Experience:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business Administration, Communications, or a related field).
- Proven experience in a similar administrative role.
