Job Title : Assembler Job Summary :
We are seeking a Wiring Harness Assembler to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for assembling wiring harnesses and cables with precision, following Assembly Process Instructions (APIs). This position requires attention to detail, strong hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work with small components. Key Responsibilities :
- Assemble and produce wiring harnesses and cables, including wire crimping, cutting, and soldering
- Follow Assembly Process Instructions (APIs) to ensure accuracy and quality
- Operate and maintain hand tools, crimping tools, and assembly-line equipment
- Strip and crimp wires using hand and pneumatic tools
- Perform tinning of wires using a solder pot
- Conduct precise soldering of wire-to-wire and wire-to-terminal connections
- Insert terminated / crimped wires into connectors and route them on harness boards
- Properly handle, label, and organize wires, connectors, and assembled units
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols
- Report quality, process, or equipment issues to the Team Leader
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Team Leader, Supervisor, or Manager Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED
Prior manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus but not required
IPC Certification is preferred but not required
Ability to read and follow instructions in English
Comfortable working under a microscope for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
