Location : Wilmington, MA

Job Type : Full-time

Schedule : Monday to Friday - Weekends as needed

We are seeking a manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic with at least 1 year of experience to join the team on the 2nd shift. This position reports directly to the Plant Engineer and is responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment essential to our operations. The ideal candidate will have experience working with :

Job Description :

  • Facility maintenance : Building structure, industrial washing equipment, freezers, coolers, and ovens.
  • Production equipment : Scales, mixers, conveyor belts, depositors, packaging machinery, and metal detection systems.
  • Basic vehicle maintenance : Brake replacements, oil changes, and diagnosing mechanical motor issues.

Qualifications :

  • 2-5 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or related maintenance fields.
  • Strong mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical repair and general maintenance.
  • Experience in preventive maintenance, including lubrication, bearing replacement, and filter changes.
  • Proficiency in documenting maintenance activities, modifications, and repairs.
  • Experience managing inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and replacement parts.
  • Knowledge of fabrication methods and electrical circuits.
  • Physical ability to lift 25-50 lbs and perform hands-on work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Flexibility to adjust work schedules as needed.
