Job Summary :
We are looking for a part-time Temporary Office Assistant to join our team. This role will be approximately 15-20 hours per week with flexible scheduling. The ideal candidate will possess computer proficiency and demonstrate a willingness to assist in various administrative and support tasks.
Responsibilities :
- Label sample tote bags for sales representatives to send as product samples.
- Send accounts receivable collection emails and occasionally make calls to follow up on outstanding invoices. (Customers are business and generally friendly; this task is not daily.)
- Support sales staff by :
- Gathering and validating sales tax exemption codes using our designated app.
- Assisting with payment processing for sales orders.
- Act as backup for sales order entry.
- Perform other related office tasks as needed.
