Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management:
- Accurately track all tools within the library using a database system, including condition checks and regular inventory audits.
- Manage tool acquisitions, including purchasing new tools, accepting donations, and coordinating repairs or replacements.
- Organize and label tools for easy identification and retrieval.
- Member Services:
- Process member sign-ups and ensure proper documentation is collected.
- Schedule tool rentals and check-in/check-out procedures, including verifying member identification and tool usage knowledge.
- Address member inquiries regarding tool availability, operation, and policies.
- Tool Maintenance and Repair:
- Conduct routine cleaning and maintenance of tools to ensure functionality and safety.
- Coordinate with qualified technicians for complex repairs or specialized maintenance.
