Position
Assembles metal products, partially or completely, working at a bench or on shop floor by performing duties as assigned.
Shift: 1st Shift
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret assembly prints and bills of material.
- Gathers and positions materials and parts according to Assembly documentation or verbal instruction.
- Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners.
- Uses and operates various pneumatic, electrical, and manual hand tools.
- Reports any issues with product or equipment to the department lead.
Qualification
- Read and execute instructions as found on blueprints.
- Ability to read and understand a tape measure.
- Perform basic math.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 45 lbs. without assistance.
- Safely use hand, air, pneumatic, and power tools, and machinery.
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
