What are the responsibilities and job description for the MAT Lead-AUS position at Monster Energy?
Position Summary:
The MAT Lead will generate trial of Monster Energy Drink products by consumers and support
Sales efforts through event sampling. Assist with lead generation for Sales Division, develop and strengthen key accounts
relationships, Increase market knowledge, build centers of influence network.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist with recruiting, hiring, and training Monster Ambassadors team members. Provide consistent direction,
coaching, and communication to maintain brand accuracy in the Monster brand experiences and sampling. Diligently
prepares ambassadors for superior customer interactions and flawless event executions. - Supervise operations and equipment in local market. Maintain company assets (Storage Facilities, Inventory,
Vehicles, Equipment). - Execute strategic directions and manage the goals for the assigned region/market. Build vendor and venue
relationships. Generate sales opportunity leads - Increase market knowledge and identify various groups and organizations with the targeted demographic in which to
partner. - Maintain inventory control for sales and promotional events
- Plan and manage all aspects of the event planning process: pre, during, and post duties including: personnel, product
delivery/distribution, transportation, supplies, contracts, insurance, permits. Actively participates in all regional events
with ambassadors - Create event schedule for local markets, team assignments are appropriate for event.
- Provide market successes feedback. Adhere to deadlines for administrative tasks including, but not limited to,
reporting and recapping data for the region
Essential Job Requirements:
- Preferably a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or similar field of study
- Between 1‐3 years of experience in Marketing, Sales or Promotional
- Minimum 1 year of experience in event planning and managing resources
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
