We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Instructional Designer and Software Trainer to support the rollout of new enterprise-wide IT systems. This role is critical in ensuring that employees across the organization are equipped to effectively adopt and utilize new systems through engaging, high-quality training programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, software training, and ideally a familiarity with the construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Instructional Design :
Develop engaging training materials and curricula tailored to diverse audiences, including in-person and online delivery formats.
Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions for end-users, ensuring understanding and engagement.
Act as a training liaison during system roll-outs, providing real-time assistance and gathering feedback to refine materials.
Partner with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and change management strategies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communication, or a related field
Proficiency in e-learning authorizing tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Captivate) and virtual training platforms (e.g. Zoom, Microsoft Teams)
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design models (e.g. ADDIE, SAM)
Willingness to travel up to 30% for in-person training sessions and implementation support
Additional Information
Salary Range : $70-113K per year
Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by law
