TITLE: Child Care Center Assistant Teacher

REPORTS TO: Child Care Center Director
JOB GOAL: The Child Care Center Assistant Teacher shares in the overall development and supervision of a well-balanced childcare program. The assistant is responsible for assisting in the operation of the childcare center according to philosophy, policies, and goals set forth by Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School in accordance with all local and state licensing.
Performance Responsibilities
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Full year, Twelve-Month, Part-Time position
Salary and benefits based on Non-Union Personnel Policy.
EVALUATION: AnnuallyMust have Preschool Teacher certification through the Department of Early Education and Care.

- Candidate should have 1 years of experience working with preschool-aged children.
- Knowledge of child development through coursework or other experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have excellent attendance and punctuality.

- Ensures all of the children's needs are met at all times.
- Maintains adequate communication with the director and parents.
- Creates and implements fun and engaging activities with children.
- Ensures the classroom is kept clean and organized.
- Adheres to all EEC regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Performs other duties assigned by the Superintendent-Director.
