The West Yellowstone School District is seeking Elementary teachers for the 2025-2026 school year. West Yellowstone School District has about 260 students total in grades K-12. We have small class sizes in all grades.
West Yellowstone is located in beautiful southwest Montana and sits alongside Yellowstone National Park and is only 8 miles from Hebgen Lake. There is an abundance of outdoor activities available in the community such as skiing, fishing, hunting, ATV and snowmobile riding, hiking, horseback riding, etc. West Yellowstone is conveniently located 47 miles from Big Sky Ski and Golf Resort, 90 miles from Bozeman, and 108 miles from Idaho Falls.
Required Qualifications
Hold a valid Montana Class 1 or Class 2 Teacher License or be able to obtain one.
Must submit a completed application and all requested materials.
Must be able to pass a fingerprint background check.
Salary and Benefits
Starting Salary $41,615 (can be more depending upon experience and graduate credits/degrees) plus $7800/year towards district health insurance plan. Â
