Minimum Salary:Â Â Â Â Starting at $17.00/ hour, Â .8 FTE (4 days/week)
Job Description:     The Paraprofessional is an itinerant position that requires travel between multiple school locations. This position is 4 days per week. The Paraprofessional works with and provides assistance to the Occupational Therapist by setting up all materials, assisting the student/s during a session, complete data collection, assures that all technology is working and trouble shoots any technology issues as needed. Ability to understand, apply, and use personal computers/ipads and software applications. Works closely with the Occupational Therapist and takes direction from them. Monitored and evaluated by the Director. Works collaboratively with school staff, students and all Cooperative staff. Good communication skills are required as well as a team approach is needed. Assists with behavioral management of students to ensure safety, on-task behavior, and achievement of IEP objectives. Compassion and knowledge of working with students with special needs is preferred. Ability to carry out instructions in written and oral form. Performs other duties as assigned.Â
Qualifications:  High School Diploma or GED; Must be able to perform all job duties satisfactorily. Valid driver’s license. Travel to multiple schools based on the caseload.Â
