Position Description:
Montana Resources, LLC is looking for a Secondary Crusher Maintenance Technician to join our team. At Montana Resources, our vision is to be a safe, low cost producer of copper and molybdenum. Responsibilities
- Conduct work area exam for assigned area(s) to identify hazardous conditions that may pose a danger to personnel and take necessary steps to correct identified condition.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections to identify conditions or defects that may impact employee safety, environmental compliance, property damage or reliability of equipment and take necessary steps to mitigate defects.
- General plant maintenance including the creation of new structures or repair of existing ones.
- Daily preventative maintenance and complex repair of Gyratory crushers, conveyors, gear boxes, and pumps.
- At times, may be required to work with other maintenance groups.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of welding, pipefitting and fabrication preferred in any trade discipline.
- Industrial background with a strong knowledge of troubleshooting, conveyors or crushers preferred.
- Ability to complete work tasks under various adverse weather conditions required.
- Ability to be self-directed, team-oriented and work with minimum supervision required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations, frequent use of respirator and to climb stairs or ladders required.
- Excellent attendance record required.
- Proven safe work record required.
- Team player, leadership and good interpersonal skills required.
- Ability to work callouts and weekends.
- Valid driver’s license required.
