The High School Junior Varsity Softball Coach will lead and oversee the JV softball program for the district, which serves a diverse student population in a rural setting. The coach is responsible for developing student-athletes to succeed on the field, in the classroom, and in the community.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement effective training, game strategies, and conditioning programs for student-athletes.
- Foster a supportive and disciplined team culture that emphasizes character, teamwork, and academic success.
- Organize and manage practices, game schedules, equipment.
- Collaborate with school administration, teachers, and athletic staff to support student-athletes academically and personally.
- Recruit and mentor assistant coaches, providing guidance on player development, training techniques, and adherence to program goals.
- Ensure all safety guidelines, including medical and health protocols, are followed during practices, games, and events.
- Promote school and community spirit, and encourage attendance and involvement in games and athletic events.
