Overview
Montech Inc. is seeking front desk receptionist/clerk services for a federal facility office located in Lakewood, Colorado for a temporary assignment (start/end date TBD). The ideal candidate will be flexible, available as needed, and able to pass a federal government background check, as well as a pre-employment drug screen. The organization uses software programs such as, but not limited to, Microsoft Word and Excel and these programs must be used in the performance of this task with good data entry and organizational skills.
The Receptionist/Clerk role is essential for managing incoming calls and providing excellent customer service to our clients. As a Receptionist/Clerk, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth communication within the organization and with external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
The core responsibilities of the Receptionist/Clerk are as follows:
- Greet, receive, and direct all visitors daily.
- Require all visitors to sign in at time of entry and out at time of leaving the facility.
- Notify appropriate personnel of visitors, ensuring that visitors are appropriately escorted while in facility.
- Answer and direct all incoming phone calls.
- Answers questions about the facility such as location of facilities, room numbers, and email addresses of personnel.
- Make announcements regarding safety conditions over the public address system when notified that an incident has occurred and again when the incident is resolved. Announcement shall be made within two (2) minutes after being notified.
- Maintain and update office phone/room lists distributing within 2 business days of receiving an update.
- Maintain office phone/room lists at the reception desk.
- Point of contact for GSA/main lunchroom vending machines for reporting problems/distributing refunds.
- Coordinate with Contract Program Manager to ensure coverage when must be away from the front desk.
- Perform data entry and document scanning daily.
- Responsible for conference room scheduling and maintenance of schedule.
- Strictly adheres to all safety, health, and environment processes and procedures daily.
Requirements
The Receptionist/Clerk will have a minimum of a high school diploma (Associates degree preferred) and the following skills:
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Data Entry, organizational skills, attention to detail.
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively.
- Familiarity with clerical and administrative tasks is required.
Security
Candidates must be U.*_S. Citizen to work on Federal Government Campus and must be willing and able to pass a federal background investigation.*_

The Receptionist/Clerk must demonstrate the following abilities: Sound judgment, foresight, and problem solving skills, possess excellent oral and written communications, and customer service skills, able to adapt to fast-paced work/office environment with accuracy under pressure, demonstrated competency managing schedules, documentation, and automated systems, demonstrate leadership, excellent research and data gathering skills and ability to interpret/analyze complex information, ability to work independently within the bounds and guidelines of the contract requirements and client, knowledge of and experience using the Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to work and communicate with diverse group of customers and clients within and outside the Federal Government.
