About the Role
Montecito Bank & Trust is seeking a full-time Concierge Banker to join the team in our Community Banking department. As a Concierge Banker, you will deliver a World Class Experience by providing exceptional financial services to our valued clients. You will manage high-net-worth individuals' financial portfolios, offering personalized banking solutions, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. You will be located in Montecito, CA with a fully on-site work schedule, and travel throughout the Bank’s footprint when necessary.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum five to eight years’ experience in banking sales management, extraordinary client service, and client/prospect calling required.
- Proficiency in financial software, loan processing, loan origination, basic math, and financial services.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Professional demeanor with a focus on integrity, accountability, and confidentiality.
Your Responsibilities
The essential functions of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Establishes an entrusted banker-client relationship, coordinating assigned client financial needs through a proactive and disciplined approach that reaches across multiple lines of business and service/support teams.
- Utilizes financial software to analyze client portfolios and recommend appropriate financial products.
- Administers Services, LB, Credit Card Portal Access, Notarizations, Wires, Cashier Checks, Payment assistance, Account reconciliations, Travel Notifications and other client needs.
- Identifies opportunities from existing clients to be their sole provider and develop new relationships externally through referrals, personal community involvement, and internal partners.
- Informs and makes introduction to appropriate Lending, Investment, and Business Banking teams.
- Proactively communicates with clients about current conditions in the financial markets and necessary adjustments to their investment strategies and holdings consistent with CNB perspectives.
