What You'll Do At Monteith
You will work to ensure a safe and quality project to deliver an exceptional building for our clients. Below, you will find some of the duties that you will perform:
MEP Coordination: This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of all aspects of the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, low voltage system, and fire sprinkler scopes of a project(s).- Troubleshoot On-Site Operations: Manage daily site activities, ensuring all work aligns with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Estimating Support: Responsible for estimating support, subcontractor bid reviews, scheduling, project logistics, and constructability reviews as it relates to MEP systems.
- Project Startup & Closeout: Responsible for onsite construction support for MEP systems and will oversee the start-up, balancing, commissioning and validation certification of these systems, including owner training and project closeout. Support MEP system turnover to client, including training on key systems.
- MEP Quality Program: Develop and oversee project-specific MEP quality program, including leading safety cause mapping for post MEP safety events. Provide warranty support for MEP systems during warranty period.
Experience You Should Have
- Field Experience in Commercial Construction: At least 5 years of commercial mechanical, electrical, and plumbing construction experience.
- Code Requirements: Strong grasp of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering concepts and applicable codes.
- Quality Control and Inspections: Experience in overseeing quality assurance, conducting inspections, and ensuring that all work meets industry standards and project specifications.
- Stakeholder Communication: Able to work with multiple stakeholders to identify and resolve complex issues as it relates to MEP design and construction.
- Technology: Proficiency with Procore to manage documents and plans, familiarity with Microsoft Project or Primavera P6, Microsoft Office Suite, and use of Bluebeam are strongly preferred.

The pay range for this role is:
90,000 - 115,000 USD per year(Monteith Raleigh)
