Job Description:
- Responsible for the coordination and completion of project/program.
- Oversees all aspects of projects/program. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project/program.
- Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project/program. May require a bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks.
- Leads and directs the work of others.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
Story Behind the Need Business Group & Key Projects
Business Group:
- HM is an accounting PM team (run projects, business sends intakes, work through intakes, gather requirements, work with tech and accounting, finalize testing prior to launch.
- Work closely with global accounting, different tech teams, and different finance/operations teams as well
Key Projects:
- Unsure, internal changes happening
Typical Day in the Role:
Day to Day:
- Team runs this program in accounting that is focused on a set of goals need for the PPM to report on these goals:
- Gathering feedback on the progress of the goals
- Highlighting key challenges
- Communicating that through bimonthly emails
- Scheduling/facilitating meetings to discuss progress of these goals
- Be working on a few other businesses launches that come and go (intakes received through the year)
Interaction level with team:
- Monthly team sync
- Contractor is to work closely with L6 on the team (formal weekly one on ones, adhoc daily syncs)
Role interesting:
- Team has a pretty broad scope, they run projects for all of Client s operating expenses
- Focus areas in the next 2 years by VP leadership (high leadership visibility)
Candidate Requirements:
Leadership principle:

YOE:
- at least 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area
- PPM experience
- Familiarity with oracle
Degree s/cert required:
- Preference in accounting degree or minor
- Accounting literate but doesn t need to be an accounting
Resume stand outs:
- Previous client's experience would be helpful (working on accounting/finance would be preferred)
- Work in a tech company that uses a distributed computing environment would be nice (ADP payroll software)
Top 3 must-have hard skills:
- Accounting knowledge
- Systems implementation experience
- Project Management experience
Salary : $60 - $70
