Job Summary/Objective:
Maintain a welcoming spa environment for visitors, residents, and staff by demonstrating the highest level of customer service in a manner consistent with the Montereau mission, vision, and values.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Essential Functions/Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assure that the spa concierge desk is managed in an efficient, professional manner so that all clients are greeted courteously and directed appropriately.
- Assure that all spa inquiries are responded to accurately and completely and problems are assessed and resolved or referred to leadership as required.
- Coordinate spa service appointments with appropriate salon staff. Contact clients to provide a reminder of appointments as necessary.
- Process cash, credit, and resident account transactions for spa services and retail products.
- Prepare spa services reports and assure spa staff confirm that all information is correct for accounting purposes.
Required Skills/Abilities/Competencies:
- Assist in providing a high level of customer service to Spa Café customers.
- Support Montereau’s marketing efforts to maximize resident occupancy by obtaining information from spa clients who are prospective residents inquiring about the community and contacting marketing with prospect information.
- Perform other related functions as required or as assigned.
- Understanding and carrying out verbal and written instructions and reviewing/preparing detailed reports and records
- Occasional use of arithmetic and performing calculations.
- Working independently or as a member of a team, and the ability to work with limited supervision.
- Routinely working on multiple tasks at the same time, under moderate amounts of pressure for results, with frequently changing priorities and requirements for extreme accuracy.
- Ability to deal with multiple and diverse personalities, continual interruptions, simultaneous and changing priorities, while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
Education and Experience:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service or administrative position is required
- Previous experience working with older adults or in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience is required
Physical Requirements:
- An extensive amount of sitting, with an occasional amount of walking, standing, kneeling, bending at the waist, and reaching above the head and shoulders.
- Ability to occasionally lift and push up to 25 pounds.
- Frequent use of ordinary communication, including normal levels of hearing and vision, including both near and far seeing, color discrimination, field of vision, and depth perception.
- Ability to use a computer, telephone, or other office equipment for an extensive period of time.
