Job Description
The Classroom Educator will develop lesson plans, select effective instructional methods, and provide a balanced curriculum in line with state educational standards for language arts, math, science, social studies, form drawing, singing, and performing arts.
Responsibilities
- Foster students' self-esteem, motivation, and civic responsibility.
- Nurture the healthy development of students' physical, social, and cognitive capacities.
- Ensure effective study and organizational habits are taught.
- Provide individualized and small group instruction as needed.
- Maintain a classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with grade level teaching partners, education specialists, subject teachers, administrative and support staff.
- Differentiate instruction and comply with student IEP and 504 plans.
- Establish and maintain standards of student behavior to achieve an optimal learning atmosphere in the classroom.
Stipends We Offer
We provide stipends for Master's degree holders ($2,000), Waldorf Certification ($3,000), and Special Education Credential ($5,000).
