What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sewing Machine Operator position at Monterey Boats?
Monterey & Blackfin Boats is currently recruiting sewing machine operators. We are looking for someone:
- with a good work ethic

- who can take instruction and has good reasoning skills
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate industrial sewing machine.
- Install bobbins, needles and guide plates to accommodate different fabric and pattern types and create assorted stitching patterns .
- Produce sewn, finished articles by following patterns and instructions that typically change with each project.
- Maintain inventory or materials and tools.
- Monitor for imperfections in material or threads.
- Notify supervisor if a mistake in pattern or work instruction is discovered.
This is a full-time position Monday - Thursday from 5am - 3:45pm. Must be willing to work overtime as needed to complete daily production requirements.
