Overview
The Senior Contract Administrator serves as the Site Lead and provides full-spectrum contracting support to the 355th Contracting Squadron (355 CONS) at Davis-Monthan AFB. The role includes managing all aspects of pre- and post-award contract actions, guiding acquisition strategies, and ensuring compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Air Force acquisition policies.

The role includes managing all aspects of pre- and post-award contract actions, guiding acquisition strategies, and ensuring compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Air Force acquisition policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage on-site contract administration team operations
- Guide all aspects of acquisition planning, solicitation, and source selection
- Draft contractual documents including SOWs, PWSs, amendments, and modifications
- Analyze proposals and support technical/price evaluations
- Support contract file documentation, closeouts, and responses to audits, FOIA, and inquiries
- Prepare and review milestone tracking, agency reports, legal documents, and deliverables
- Ensure appropriate use of CON-IT, DEAMS, PIEE, and related systems
- Act as primary interface between contractor staff and Government personnel
- 10 years of federal contracting experience (preferably with the Department of the Air Force)
- 3 years of base-level acquisition experience in commercial supplies, services, and minor construction
- DAWIA or FAC-C Contracting Professional certification (or equivalent)
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Leadership experience and ability to guide junior acquisition personnel
