Banquet Set Up

We are seeking a Banquet Set Up employee with a dynamic hospitality driven attitude to join our food & beverage team!

For nearly 100 years Monterey Peninsula Country Club has catered to a diverse Membership of more than 1,100 Members. We provide dining in five outlets amongst the Club House, Golf House, and two 18-hole golf courses.

As a Banquet Set Up staff member at Monterey Peninsula Country Club, we will ask you to:

• Complete and meeting and even setup on time and in accordance with BEO.
• Complete breakdown of assigned function space and return equipment to proper storage area.
• Assist with setting and clearing rooms for upcoming events.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of function space in conjunction with facilities and housekeeping staff.
• Ensure proper inventory of banquet equipment is maintained.

What we will need from you:

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, BEO's, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to read, understand and carry out written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of general banquet and meeting event industry standards and lingo.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule with availability on holidays, weekdays, and weekends.
• Ability to perform physically challenging work assignments with or without an accommodation.
• Previous banquet set up experience preferred.

Certifications and Licenses:

• Possess RBS certification or can obtain within 30.
• Must provide valid document(s) to work in the US.
