We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Central Supply Technician to join our dynamic team.
The Central Supply Technician is responsible for assembling supplies and equipment, maintaining supply levels, keeping the department organized, stocked, and well maintained. This position plays a vital role in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of our surgical services, ensuring that all materials are available and in optimal condition for use during procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring that all necessary supplies are readily available and appropriately stocked. Perform regular stock audits and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Prepare, package, and distribute surgical supplies to designated areas in a timely manner, ensuring that each operating room is fully stocked with required materials.
- Assist with the maintenance and monitoring of surgical equipment, reporting any malfunctions or necessary repairs to appropriate personnel.
- Administrative responsibilities include data entry into inventory control system, EMR, audit involvement and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards, regulatory requirements, and internal protocols related to inventory and supply handling.
- Work closely with the clinical staff, including nurses and surgeons, to understand and anticipate supply needs for each procedure, ensuring the surgery center operates smoothly.
- Assist with room turnover and OR preparation.
Compensation and Benefits:
This position pays a competitive rate of $22.00-32.00 per hour depending on the level of experience. We offer a full suite of benefits including 401k with company match, medical, dental, vision and life insurance, as well as voluntary Aflac plans. We have a generous PTO schedule, and our staff enjoy a Monday-Friday schedule.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; some post-secondary education or certifications in Medical Assisting, Sterile Processing or healthcare supply chain management preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-service-oriented attitude.
- Ability to lift and carry supplies (up to 30 lbs.), stand for extended periods, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
