Unarmed Security Officer: Cook County Juvenile Temporary Detention Center

Full-time, Part-time, WEEKENDS INCLUDED
We are looking for Security Officers (must be 21yrs or older) to maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, customers and employees by patrolling, monitoring premises and personnel throughout the Chicagoland area.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, inspecting buildings, equipment and access points.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities.
• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Enforcing security policies and procedures at all events
Qualifications:
• Must be 21yr and older
• Must pass background
• ACTIVE PERC card- Required
• 20hr Basic Security Training Certificate- Required
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills

Physical requirement:
