Job purpose:
Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, inspecting buildings, equipment and access points.
- Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities.
- Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures.
- Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, elevator emergency, and hazardous materials.
Qualifications:
- Must be an active full-time Illinois Police Officer or Law Enforcement Officer
- Must be able to provide (VE-PEC) verification of employment as FT Peace Officer documentation.
- Must have ability to maintain composure when dealing with unusual circumstances.
- Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., cell phone).
- Must have reliable transportation
- (Indiana, Minnesota and Retired law-enforcement will have additional requirements)
Working conditions:
- Some sites consist of outdoor post that may involve working in inclement weather conditions.
Physical requirements:
- Standing and Walking for extended periods of time.
- Must be physically capable of lifting, pushing and or pulling at least 50lbs.
- Accommodate foot patrols on the interior & exterior of the assigned facilities.
