What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Maintenance Supervisor position at Montessori House of Children- Brookview School?
Brookview Montessori School seeks to fill the position of Part-time Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the facilities of our school. Brookview currently has 135 children enrolled, Infancy through 8th grade. We are located on 10 beautiful acres in Benton Township near River Park.
Previous maintenance experience is required.
Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
· Making minor repairs when needed, be it plumbing, carpentry, or small electrical matters.
· Contacting vendors for major repairs and/or to purchase supplies, and being the liaison with those vendors, as well as those performing regular periodic services such as lawn care, snowplowing, and water testing.
· Following our Maintenance Compliance Calendar and making appointments for the required inspections of our fire alarm system, water filtration system, HVAC, and our elevator system.
· Cleaning of floors, bathrooms, and maintenance of the outdoor environment.
· Functioning as a part of the school community, supporting teachers and staff, and helping to meet their facilities needs.
