What are the responsibilities and job description for the Montessori Floater/Sub position at Montessori in the Pines?
Montessori in the Pines is a small Montessori preschool and kindergarten program located in the heart of Bend, Oregon with two different locations. Our school has low student to teacher ratios and a wonderfully supportive community. We combine Montessori philosophy with a farm-school approach. Montessori in the Pines fosters independence within a hands-on learning environment, with an emphasis of culturally responsive and anti-racist teaching.
We are looking for a warm, lively, and responsible assistant teacher to join our team, as early as June, with paid training. A preferred candidate would have an interest and expertise in gardening, music, and/or yoga. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and opportunities for Montessori certification sponsorship are available. We offer professional learning stipends, paid holidays and sick days, and health insurance reimbursements. Hours are somewhat flexible, but usually 10 am to 6pm, Monday-Friday.
