Job Description
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and enthusiastic Veterinary Client Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about animal care and have a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service to our clients and their pets.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and their pets with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic’s calendar.
- Answer phone calls and respond to client inquiries via email and in person.
- Assist clients with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Maintain accurate client and patient records.
- Process payments and handle financial transactions.
- Provide clients with information about our services, including grooming, medical treatments, and preventive care.
- Support veterinary staff with administrative tasks as needed.
- Ensure the reception area is clean and organized.
- Phlebotomy
- Ability to place a catheter (IV, and/or urinary)
- Administer medication (IV/IM/SQ/PO)
- Ability to draw and run bloodwork
- General radiology knowledge
- Dental radiology and hygienist skills
- General to Advanced anesthesia skills
- Ability to assist in exams, dentals, and surgery
- Fear Free Handling
- Patient Monitoring
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a veterinary or medical setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using computers and veterinary management software (experience with Evet (Pulse) or similar software is a plus).
- Passion for animals and commitment to providing exceptional service to clients.
- Must be comfortable working in a veterinary hospital setting.
