Pet Emergency & Trauma Services is looking for experienced Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants interested in PRN shifts. We have a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Working as part of our team, you have the opportunity to fully use and/or grow your skill set while providing compassionate care to our patients.
Duties include triage and stabilization of incoming emergencies; obtaining patient histories; ICU nursing care of hospitalized pets; performing diagnostics (in-house labs, X-rays); answering client calls; coordinating patient care with area day practices; and hospital facility upkeep. Have several years of veterinary experience, but no ER experience? You'll be working with highly skilled veterinarians and team members who can show you the ropes.

Requirements:
- A minimum of three years veterinary experience
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Focus, self-direction, and skill at multitasking
- High level of animal compassion
- You were socialized well as a puppy and can play well with others
- Excellent communication skills
- Pride in helping provide high quality, compassionate care
- Interest in utilizing current training and skills as well as expanding your skill set
Compensation is dependent on experience and is competitive in today's tight market, whether you are a VA with 3 years GP experience or a RVT with several years ER under your belt. Compensation discussed as part of your interview process.
