Summer School Building Test Coordinator (BTC) - ACAP

Locations: Bear, Blount, Brewbaker Intermediate, Carver Elementary, Catoma, Chisholm, Dalraida,
Dannelly, Davis, Dozier, Fitzpatrick, Flowers, Forest Avenue, Garrett, Halcyon, Highland Avenue,
Highland Gardens, Johnson, King, MacMillan, Morris, Morningview, Nixon, Crump, Pintlala, Southlawn
Elementary, Vaughn Road, Wares Ferry, and Wilson.
Qualifications:

• Holds a valid Alabama Teacher’s Certification
• Experience as a Building Test Coordinator

Job Responsibilities

• Attends summer training and planning sessions scheduled by the District Test Coordinator.
• Manages the DRC Portal.
• Trains test administrators, proctors and hall monitors.
• Manages secure test materials (This includes the distribution and collection process).
• Communicates test schedule to staff and parents.
• Notifies eligible students and parents/guardians regarding required participation.
• Documents participation of eligible students.
• Coordinates the ACAP Supplemental Reading Test administration during one of the two summer

testing windows: June 23-26, 2025, or July 14-16, 2025.

• Works directly with District Test Coordinator.

Salary: $40.00 per hour
Funding Source: Title I Funds
Work term: June 1 - July 17, 2025 (The window includes both training and test preparation.
