The Social Services program in Montgomery County is committed to providing exceptional service to our diverse communities, residents, and businesses. An experienced Administrator is needed to lead initiatives, quality assurance, data, program audit and compliance, case management systems, budget management and customer services to meet client expectations.
What You'll Be Doing
The position will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to work on initiatives, planning projects, and delivery of services to ensure that the expansion of services is consistent with program needs and goals. The position will have direct oversight of social service program areas and overlap with other service areas that fall outside the scope of senior administrators. - Supervision of administrative support staff
- Fiscal and budget oversight
- Leading processes and decision-making
- Quality assurance and auditing
- Leadership strategic planning and mapping
- Data collection and analysis for equitable social services in the community.
- Evaluate existing practices and make recommendations for programmatic improvements, operational efficiency, recommending strategies and solutions to inform decision-making at the local and state level.
- Attend state, community, and county meetings.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience: Five (5) years of progressively responsible professional experience in Budget Management and oversight and customer service.
Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree.
Equivalency: An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
Preferred Criteria, Interview Preferences
We will use preferred criteria screening questions:
- Do you have 5-7 years of experience in budget management and oversight
- Do you have an experience analyzing Social Services community needs and making recommendations on policy development, policy issues and decisions and customer service needs
- Do you have an experience in communicating information to large groups of internal and external partners (Private, County, Regional, State, Community focus groups, and federal partners).
- Do you have experience in Data and quality assurance
- Do you have experience leading large organizations, projects, process improvements and initiatives
- Do you have experience in compliance, auditing program policies, and systems
We will use interview preference criteria:
- 5-7 years of experience in customer service and budget management.
- Experience communicating and presenting information to large groups of internal and external partners.
- Experience in compliance and Auditing.
- Experience in Data and quality assurance.
- Experience analyzing social service community needs and making recommendations on policy development
- Experience supervising administrative staff.
