Early Childhood Services is currently recruiting for an experienced and dynamic leader to serve as Manager overseeing our Early Intervention Program. What You'll Be Doing
We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader with a strong commitment to equity, collaboration, and strategic thinking to manage and enhance the Early Intervention Program:
Experience: Five (5) years of progressively responsible professional experience in Early Childhood Education in field of Early Intervention.
Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree.
Equivalency: An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. Note: Based upon legislative requirements, some positions may be subject to different minimum qualifications.
License
Master's Degree in Special Education or related field (Early Childhood Educ, Social Work, Family Studies)
5 years demonstrated experience leading teams and supervising staff
5 years demonstrated experience managing a program
3 years demonstrated experience coordinating with external partners to enhance service delivery

What You'll Be Doing

- Grant Management: Oversee a $6 million grant, including grant writing, administration, and compliance monitoring, to ensure program sustainability and effectiveness.
- Strategic Planning and Data Use: Analyze data to inform program operations, drive improvements, and align efforts with organizational goals.
- Partnership and Collaboration: Coordinate with Montgomery County Public Schools and other partners to enhance service delivery and achieve shared objectives.
- Representation and Advocacy: Act as a liaison for DHHS at local and state levels within the early care and education space, driving results and promoting the program's mission.
