Cooperates with law enforcement, judicial & government officials (e.g., county prosecutor, police, judges) to assist in criminal prosecution, repayment, or other avenues of resolution & testifies in court when necessary.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
For county job and family services child support positions, requires ability to calculate fractions, decimals & percentages & to read & write common vocabulary plus: 1 course in principles of interviewing (or 1 mo. exp.); 1 course in criminal investigation or investigative methods, practices & procedures (or 3 mos. exp.); 1 course in case preparation techniques (or 1 mo. exp.); 1 course in effective oral communication (or 1 mo. exp.); 1 course in technical writing (or 1 mo. exp. writing detailed technical reports); or equivalent. Valid Driver's License. For county job and family services positions involving criminal investigation of welfare fraud, requires ability to calculate fractions, decimals & percentages & to read & write common vocabulary plus: 1 course in principles of interviewing (or 1 mo. exp.); 1 course in criminal investigation methods) (or 3 mos. exp. in conducting criminal investigations); 1 course in law enforcement (or 3 mos. law enforcement exp.); 1 course in case preparation techniques (or 1 mo. exp.); 1 course in technical writing (or 1 mo. exp. in writing detailed technical reports); 1 course in effective oral communication (or 1 mo. exp.); or equivalent.
