This is a full-time, on-site role located in Silver Spring, MD, for a Long-Term Middle School Computer Science Substitute Teacher. The Long-Term Substitute Teacher will be responsible for providing comprehensive instruction in computer science and programming to middle school students. Daily tasks include preparing lesson plans, delivering engaging and interactive lessons, assessing and evaluating student performance, and collaborating with other educators and staff to ensure a supportive and effective learning environment.
- Knowledge and experience in Computer Science and Programming
- Strong Communication and Analytical Skills
- Ability to conduct and apply Research effectively
- Excellent classroom management and organizational skills
- Ability to engage and inspire middle school students
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Education, or related field
- Previous teaching experience is preferred, but not required
- Valid teaching certification is a plus
