Job Summary
Under general supervision, instructs and supervises students of a state educational, rehabilitation, health care or correctional facility. Develops individual instruction plans, provides instruction, completes reports and tutors students.
Duties
- Enforces administration policies and rules governing students
- Instructs students in vocational and pre- vocational skills
- Maintains necessary reporting systems
- Prepares and delivers progress reports
- Prepares and maintains students' records
- Prepares daily work plans and instructional materials for classroom use
- Prepares lesson plans and laboratory exercises
- Provides individual attention and assistance to meet the varied needs and abilities of students
- Teaches and instructs through lectures, demonstrations and audio/visual aids
Entry Qualifications:
Associate degree from an accredited college or university recognized certification in the area of vocational assignment or one (1) year of experience required at the lower level instructor 1 (EDP020) or position equivalent.
Note: Positions may require area specific certifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
In addition to Entry Qualifications, Preferred Qualifications may be added by the agency.

Pay: $38,452.58 - $50,142.29 per year
