What are the responsibilities and job description for the Load Planner position at Montgomery Transport Llc?
Organize, manage, schedule, and plan freight for approximately 20-40 trucks daily, while taking drivers needs, total mileage (empty and loaded), location, rate, customer, and commodity into consideration.
Update corresponding CSR of any delays or issues in customer service.
Developing and maintaining a proficient working knowledge of all relevant order planning software
Communicating with drivers as needed.
Contributing to the team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
Other duties, as assigned.
Bachelors degree (4 year) or equivalent industry experience.
Availability to work as needed, outside of a regular schedule.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Detail oriented, with ability to multi-task, in a fast-paced work environment.
Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and with tight deadlines.
Proficient using Microsoft Office product suite.
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
