Description
- Organize, manage, schedule, and plan freight for approximately 20-40 trucks daily, while taking drivers’ needs, total mileage (empty and loaded), location, rate, customer, and commodity into consideration.
- Update corresponding CSR of any delays or issues in customer service.
- Developing and maintaining a proficient working knowledge of all relevant order planning software
- Communicating with drivers as needed.
- Contributing to the team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (4 year) or equivalent industry experience.
- Availability to work as needed, outside of a regular schedule.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Detail oriented, with ability to multi-task, in a fast-paced work environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and with tight deadlines.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office product suite.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
