POSITION SUMMARY
The Human Resources (HR) Intern will play a pivotal role in supporting the HR team in daily operations and
special projects. This role offers an opportunity to gain valuable, hands-on experience in key HR functions such
as recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, training coordination, and HR administration.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Recruitment Support:
- Assist in job posting on various platforms and company career pages.
- Screen resumes and schedule interviews with candidates.
- Maintain and update the candidate database.
2. Onboarding and Orientation:
- Help organize and execute new employee onboarding sessions.
- Prepare welcome kits and ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
3. HR Operations and Administration:
- Maintain and update employee records in HR databases.
- Assist in preparing HR-related reports and documentation.
- Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
4. Employee Engagement:
- Assist in planning and organizing team-building activities and events.
- Conduct surveys and collect feedback to improve employee satisfaction.
5. Learning and Development:
Support the coordination of training sessions and workshops.
- Track employee training progress and ensure records are updated.
6. Compliance and Policy Adherence:
- Support in ensuring HR practices comply with local labor laws and company policies.
- Assist in drafting or updating HR policies as needed.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Education: Enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with HR software is a plus.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Work Ethic: A proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Adaptability: Willingness to learn and take on new challenges in a dynamic work environment.
