A day in the life of a Junior Graphic Designer at Montgomery Whitewater
Design Support: Assist the design team in preparing visually appealing and brand-consistent graphics for digital platforms (social media, website, email marketing) and print materials (brochures, flyers, event signage).
Layout Creation & Editing: Design and/or revise layouts for marketing materials, ensuring they are visually compelling and optimized for their intended use. This includes brochures, event graphics, flyers, email templates, and more.
Brand Consistency: Maintain brand integrity across all materials by adhering to established brand guidelines, including logo usage, color palettes, typography, and visual style.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Creative Director, Marketing Director, and other departments to understand design requirements, contribute creative ideas, and ensure projects are executed effectively.
Revisions & Updates: Efficiently handle design revisions and updates based on feedback from internal teams, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
Asset Creation: Create and optimize visual assets (images, icons, graphics) for both print and digital applications, ensuring they are properly formatted and optimized for various platforms. Pre-press knowledge and experience are highly desired.
Research & Trends: Stay current on design trends, emerging tools, and best practices in graphic design to continuously improve your skills and the quality of your work.
