The Montshire Museum of Science is seeking an experienced Director of Strategic Philanthropy to lead its fundraising efforts. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of securing major gifts, developing donor strategies, and managing a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals.
• Develop and implement donor strategies
• Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals
• Secure major gifts to support the museum's mission
• Collaborate with the executive director and campaign committee to plan and implement capital, special, and comprehensive campaigns
• Coordinate donor visits and events
• Write proposals and create campaign documents
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree and CFRE preferred
• 5 years of individual giving experience with a strong background in major gifts fundraising
• Skilled in donor engagement, prospecting, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship
• Experience writing fundraising proposals and building philanthropic relationships
• Excellent computer skills and fluency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and social media
