Duties

- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their insurance benefits and any outstanding balances.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure proper coding and billing practices are followed.
- Assist in the management of managed care contracts and relationships with insurance companies.
- Stay updated on changes in medical coding (ICD-9) and insurance policies that may affect billing procedures.
- Provide support in a dental office setting as needed, ensuring seamless coordination of patient care.
