What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist/Medical Assistant position at Montville MedSpa and Pain Center?
Overview
This is a dual-role position ideal for someone with previous front desk and administrative experience. You’ll be the first point of contact for our patients, so being warm, professional, and comfortable speaking with patients is a must! We’ll provide training for the medical assistant responsibilities, so no prior clinical experience is necessary.
Duties
- Greet patients with a smile and help them check in/check out
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments
- Manage multiple platforms for scheduling and communicating with patients
- Maintain patient records and assist with basic medical assistant tasks such as bringing patients into exam rooms, assisting providers during treatment, cleaning and sanitizing the room following appointments, restocking materials in exam rooms, etc.
Experience
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of scheduling practices and documentation review processes.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of medspa services is a plus
- Proficient in Google applications (docs, sheets, drive, etc.)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
