Job Description
The QC Lab Chemist is a key member of our team, responsible for ensuring the effective utilization of analytical processes and resources to facilitate consistent, accurate, and rapid analyses of in-process materials, finished products, and shipments. This role requires a strong understanding of laboratory procedures, quality management systems, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
* Manage lab instruments and testing reagents for raw material, manufacturing, finished product, and customer specification processes
* Develop and maintain analytical methods and analyses
* Identify and maintain instrumentation needed to support site needs
* Support implementation of analysis for new products
* Drive continual improvement of quality management systems (ISO and SQF)
Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or equivalent science
* 5 years of related work experience, preferably in manufacturing or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Experience with lab instrument maintenance and troubleshooting preferred
