Job Role
The QC Lab Chemist plays a critical role in our quality management process, responsible for managing lab instruments and testing reagents, developing analytical methods, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage lab instruments and testing reagents for raw material, manufacturing, finished product, and customer specification processes
* Develop and maintain analytical methods and analyses
* Identify and maintain instrumentation needed to support site needs
* Support implementation of analysis for new products
* Drive continual improvement of quality management systems (ISO and SQF)
Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or equivalent science
* 5 years of related work experience, preferably in manufacturing or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Experience with lab instrument maintenance and troubleshooting preferred
