The Summer Admin Intern will Gain first-hand knowledge in the hospitality industry while spending a semester in a unique island resort setting. Moody Gardens’ goal is to help our interns gain a broader understanding of the industry and how to provide a memorable guest experience. To achieve this goal, interns focus on multiple departments while rotating across most department to gain insight in all areas of Hotel hospitality.

• Handle phone reservations and assign
• Assist in development room revenue and occupancy forecasts
• Shadow managers to learn about department operations
• Attend meetings and trainings as scheduled
• Miscellaneous duties as required
• Learn about Sales Marketing and Convention Services.
  
  

To be considered for an Internship at Moody Gardens you should be

• Currently enrolled in a program or university studying hospitality or related field
• Must be reliable and responsible
• Ability to effectively work with internal and external customers
• Ability to read, listen to and effectively communicate in English
• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work in a confined space
• Must be able to multitask and follow instructions.
