The Role
Moonbug Entertainment seeks a Director, Digital Commerce & Retail to manage and expand Moonbug's e-commerce and social commerce presence, ensuring best-in-class product representation and merchandising in market. Reporting to the Managing Director, Global Consumer Products & Experiences, this role will lead the development and execution of comprehensive consumer products digital commerce strategies, with an emphasis on Amazon, while identifying alternative e-/social commerce strategies to maximize revenue opportunities with new and existing partners across key categories on a global scale.

Reporting to the Managing Director, Global Consumer Products & Experiences, this role will lead the development and execution of comprehensive consumer products digital commerce strategies, with an emphasis on Amazon, while identifying alternative e-/social commerce strategies to maximize revenue opportunities with new and existing partners across key categories on a global scale.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy:
- Develop and execute a results-driven e-/social commerce strategy to drive sales and grow Moonbug's consumer products business, ensuring alignment with overall brand objectives and KPIs
- Analyze Moonbug's digital retail ecosystem and identify solutions that open new revenue and partner opportunities
- Explore creative strategies and new channels of commercialization expanding consumer touchpoints to Moonbug's consumer products online
- Manage associated relationships with buyers and top licensees pitching brand updates and campaigns to sell-in strategies
- Responsible for managing the day-to-day relationship with buyers, licensee sales teams, and associated internal stakeholders
- Enhance and optimize existing presence of consumer products across all IP
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify overall growth and new improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with licensing partners to maximize merchandising opportunities on the platform
- Activate Amazon through cross-category, themed bundles, and integrated marketing campaigns
- Partner with creative on brand store strategy for the US, and adoption on global pages
- Evaluate owned & operated e-/social commerce solutions including, but not limited to, YouTube MFK and Tik Tok
- Develop business strategies specific to digital platforms
- Ensure cohesive execution and collaboration with brick and mortar retail partners
- Work with licensing partners to maximize sales efforts and GTM strategies
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (franchise management, marketing, content, creative, ad sales) to ensure smooth execution of campaigns, product launches, and partner opportunities
- Support category sales teams on the execution of retail programs at key accounts within priority markets
- 7 years of experience in e-/social commerce or digital marketing, with a strong focus on driving revenue and improving customer experience.
- Experience in consumer products, retail within entertainment or consumer goods.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing, and web analytics
- Strong analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across departments and manage external partners
- Proficiency in leveraging consumer data and market insights to inform strategies
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
