Job Purpose: Maintain and control a comprehensive Food Safety and Quality Assurance program.
This position is responsible for supporting the Quality Assurance Manager in ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures, USDA regulations, company policies, and HACCP activities.
The successful candidate will be accountable for:
- Complying with regulatory requirements and maintaining accurate records
- Assisting with daily tasks, audits, and reporting any issues to the QA Manager
- Adjusting processes to meet quality standards
- Ensuring product labeling compliance
- Promoting a safe work environment
- Setting up sampling and testing of products, submitting results, and performing other duties as required
Requirements:
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) proficiency
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Proficiency with basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
